CFD Death Café with Presentation

Uptown Kingston here we come … again! If you missed us in October, be sure to join us this November.
Tuesday, November 19 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at The Old Dutch Church, located at 272 Wall St. in Uptown Kingston.
This month our CFD Death Café will be preceded by a brief presentation from Dr. Maggie Carpenter on the benefits and functions of CBD and medicinal marijuana.
At Death Café, the aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their finite lives. At a CFD Death Café, each conversation is preceded with a brief presentation to expand our understanding of different topics related to dying and death.
The Circle of Friends Death Café has no theme and is not a grief support group. Come mingle and enjoy our cakes, coffee, and tea. No fee, though donations for future Death Cafés are greatly appreciated. All are welcome.
Dr. Carpenter is the Medical Director of Hudson Valley Hospice and President of Nightingale Medical, offering bedside care in the Hudson Valley with personalized service to your home for everything from newborn assessments to end of life care. As a certified medicinal marijuana physician, Dr. Carpenter will offer her wisdom and understanding of the benefits and function of medical marijuana. We are excited to share this information and learn together.
