Life Matters

Each month, Jim & Lisa’s Circle Home opens its doors for a presentation and discussion group to give folks a warm and supportive space for sharing ideas and exploring topics related to dying and death. Life Matters is held in our home at 100 Wurts Street in Kingston’s Rondout District on the second Tuesday of every month*, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. The room comfortably holds up to 18 people, so please register early if you are interested in attending. There is no fee for these discussions. To register, please click on the form listed below for each meeting.

*Note: just like you, we are taking a vacation in July and August, and will begin holding meetings again in September. Don’t miss out on our June discussion!

June 11, 2024 3:00-4:30pm As part of our series of Perspectives on Death and Dying, we will be joined by Reverend Dr. Robert L Gram to discuss Myths About Dying. Bob holds degrees from New Brunswick, Princeton, and San Francisco Seminaries. He also obtained a graduate degree in social work from Columbia University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Bob has authored one book, and more than 75 articles. For more details please click here. To register click here.
