Life Matters: The Healing Obituary with Kitty Sheehan
November 14 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
The Healing Obituary: Focus on the Details
Reporter Margalit Fox says, “Obituaries have next to nothing to do with death and absolutely everything to do with life.” So why do we wait until after our deaths to write them? Thinking about how to tell your life story, or that of a loved one, can help you see your life more clearly.
Kitty Sheehan leads this conversation about the elements that help an obituary tell a vivid life story. Kitty is the co-founder of The Healing Obituary, a writing seminar that trains funeral home professionals and others to write more detailed, meaningful obituaries.
During this event, she’ll share some of her writing tips, discuss her experiences writing obituaries, and help you do some writing of your own. Join us for a fun, informal, and informative talk!
There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. If interested in attending and to register click here.
