Peace of Mind for Life – December 20, 2024
December 20 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Circle of Friends for the Dying presents
Peace of Mind for Life, a workshop being held at Circle Home: 100 Wurts Street, Kingston, NY 12401
Who Will Speak for You?
Peace of Mind for Life is designed to engage you in conversations . about end-of-life care choices. The intention is for every person, regardless of age or health status, to make well-informed choices and to complete their Advance Medical Directives. This will assure that your chosen Health Care Proxy fully understands your wishes as directed in your Living Will.
Advance Directives protect your personal healthcare choices in the case of an unexpected event or critical illness that may compromise the ability to speak or verbalize wishes. What if you have Alzheimer’s or dementia? How will you be in control of your wishes?
Level 1: What, How, Who, Why
You will leave with a better understanding of what your choices are, and the necessary forms to complete the process.
Level 2: Almost, But Not Quite
You’ve got just a little more to do to complete your forms. What’s holding you back?
Once done and filed in the correct places, you will experience Peace of
Mind for Life.
Level 1: What, How, Who, Why
