Returning by popular demand! An In-Person CFD Death Café, hosted by the Holistic Health Community!
All welcome! No admission! Light refreshments!
CFD Death Cafés are gatherings of people, often strangers, where we eat cake, drink tea or coffee, and confidentially have a conversation that breaks the taboo of talking about dying and death. A Death Café is a group-directed conversation with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.
People leave feeling “connected, uplifted, fulfilled, thankful, and informed.”
Circle of Friends has delivered more than 100 CFD Death Cafés across the county and on Zoom.

Laurie Schwartz will be leading this event. She is a co-founder of Circle of Friends for the Dying and presently is the Chair of the organization. She is one of the early leaders of the hospice movement in the United States. She has led many previous Death Cafés.
