Peace of Mind for Life – Advance Directives program

April 16, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

To highlight the vital importance of making healthcare choices in advance of need, Circle of Friends for the Dying is launching a program for Ulster County residents called “Peace of Mind for Life” on National Healthcare Decisions Day, April 16, 2021. Please register for our free, info-filled Zoom event, 10 am – 12 pm on Friday, April 16.

Peace of Mind for Life is designed to engage you in conversations about end-of-life care choices and will focus on education and guidance. The intention is for every person, regardless of age or health status, to make well-informed choices and to complete their Advance Directives. This will assure that your Health Care Proxy fully understands your wishes as directed in your Living Will.

Advance healthcare planning is vital!

  • Get peace of mind knowing you have documented your choices  to be carried out on your behalf by someone you trust.
  • Give peace of mind when your healthcare wishes are clearly stated during times of crisis.

Join in the conversation to ensure that the person who will speak for you (your Health Care Proxy) knows your wishes (your Living Will).
